It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Evelyn Brooks Brown of Chase City, Virginia, who passed away on June 3, 2020, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Hassie and Mary Catherine Dailey Brooks; and her siblings, Lucinda Staten, Barbra Jean Brooks, Sonny, Robert, Herman, Ernest and Dorsey Brooks.
She is survived by: her siblings, Harvey Lee Brooks (Mary) of Falls Church, VA and Rosa Mae Williams of Philadelphia, PA; her nieces, Audrey Denise Pleasant of Chase City, VA and Gina C. Staten of Chase City, VA; and her sister-in-law Barbara Long Brooks.
