She was predeceased by: her father Porter Hector; her husband William E. of Washington; and her siblings, Henry L., Jimmie L., Porter Hector Jr. and Mary Bell Smithson.
She is survived by: her daughter Michelle D. (Tim) of Columbia, MD; her grandchildren, Christopher, Aaries, Erin Simone, Messiah, Zyiion and Legaci; her adoptive daughter Catherine Richardson; her goddaughters, Rita Gilbert, Rose Gilbert and Nicole Latimer Wood; her siblings, Pearl Hector of Newark, NJ and Edward Hector of Atlanta, GA; and her brothers-in-law, Charles R. of Washington and Benjamin of Washington. She is also survived by other loving relatives and caring friends.
