She was predeceased by: her parents, William Burgin Newton and Bertha Marilda Buff Newton; her husband Sherman Ray Parker; and her son Darryl Newton Parker, Sr.. She is survived by: her grandson Darryl Newton Parker, Jr.; her great grandchild Olivia Grace Parker of Warner; her grandchildren, Douglas Seabrook Parker of Raleigh, Hope Lynn Williams of Woodleaf and Esther Caroline Scoggins (Kim Reid Scoggins) of Matthews; her great grandchildren, Ayla Faith Scoggins of Charlotte, Harmony Ellen Scoggins of Matthews and Darryl Timothy Scoggins (Bayleigh); and also, Caroline Seabrook Parker Williams of Concord and Atha Lynne Scoggins of Knoxville, TN..
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to the First Assembly Living Center, 160 Warren C Coleman Blvd N, Concord, NC 28027.
