We are sad to announce that on January 21, 2024, at the age of 85, Marjorie Christine Mahanes (Charlottesville, Virginia), born in Staunton, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband David Lee Mahanes. She is survived by: her son David Lee Mahanes II; her siblings, Judith Bosserman Hostetter and Gary D. Bosserman of Waynesboro; her grandchildren, David Lee Mahanes III and Caitlin Mahanes Winn (Joseph); her great grandchildren, Sanders Lee and Shea Mackenzie; and her siblings-in-law, Jean M. Pace (Walter) and Clifford B. Mahanes. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to Olivet Presbyterian Church, 2575 Garth Rd., Charlottesville, VA 22901.
