He was predeceased by: his parents, David Tinsley and Bettie Moore Tinsley; and his siblings, Nathaniel, Webster, James, Clarence, Daniel, Sidney, Alfonso, Jane Tinsley Bell Jordan and Mary Tinsley Durrette.
He is survived by: his wife Ann C. Tinsley; his daughter Barbara A. Tinsley (J. Eric Kang); his siblings, George F., Frank A. and Thelma N. Tinsley; and his sisters-in-law, Ina J. Tinsley, Shirley A. Tinsley, Lillie C. Montague, Ruth C. Moore and Shirley T. Cowan. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
