She was predeceased by: her husband James Tharington; her son Charles R. Pugh, Jr; and her siblings, Thomas Adkins, Anderson Adkins, Louise Reed, Loreese Ford, Adele Johnson, Hattie Adkins and Estelle Adkins.
She is survived by: her sons, Christopher Pugh and Kevin Pugh (Eva); and her grandchildren, Patrice Johnson (Pete), Wayne Pugh, Courtney Jones, Terrell Whitehead, Kenyatta Jones, Joi Stith (Terry), Christine Pugh and Crystal Robinson (John). She is also survived by fifteen great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; devoted caretaker, Edith Smith; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
