He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Bogan Ragsdale; his daughters, Julie Anne Ragsdale of Callands and Rachel Ragsdale Vanderbye (Aaron) of Morganton; his sister-in-law Gail Ragsdale of Danville, Virginia; his granddaughter Gracyn Vanderbye; and his close friend Harold Merricks of Danville, Virginia..
