It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marie Brooks Taylor of Callands, Virginia, who passed away on October 23, 2021, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Brooks and Evelyn Brooks; and her husband Hubert Benjamin Taylor. She is survived by: her children, Kimberly Taylor and Bradley Taylor (Christy) of Callands, VA; her grandchildren, Lacie, Seth and Khloe Taylor; her brothers, Austine Brooks (Ethel) of Durham, NC and David Brooks of Callands, VA; her aunt Margaret Harris of Callands, VA; her uncle Horace Brooks of Callands; and her sisters-in-law, Linda Echols of Dry Fork, VA and Felicia Stokes of Danville, VA. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
