It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Warren Anderson Powell Jr. of Buchanan, Virginia, born in Danville, Virginia, who passed away on November 2, 2020, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Warren Anderson Powell, Sr. and Sallie Davis Powell. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Bolden Powell; his children, Amy Moore (Stuart) of Danville, VA, Chris Powell (Kristy) of Forest, VA and Tyler Powell (Calyn) of Fincastle, VA.; his granddaughters, Allyson, Amber, Aubree, Lilly, Gemma and Delilah; and his brother Tony Powell (Renee).
The family respectfully suggests memorial donations be made to the United States Marine Corps.
