We are sad to announce that on May 21, 2023 we had to say goodbye to Valeria Jo Hurley of Buchanan, Virginia, born in Grundy, Virginia. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Hankins and Donna Jean Hankins (Roberts); and her grandmother Ethel Roberts. She is survived by: her husband Emory "Weasel" Hurley; her son Jacob "Jake" Hurley (Teresa Irick) of Hurley, VA.; her nephew Rickey; and her friends, Kathy, Nikki, Kim, Karen and Mitch Blankenship. She is also survived by several sisters-in-law, aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces and cousins.

In lieu of flowers (or in addition to), donations may be made to Grundy Funeral Home to help cover the funeral expenses for Valerie.
