It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sherry Janice Lockhart of Buchanan, Virginia, who passed away on October 8, 2020, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Madison and Nancy Jane Owens (Deel); her husband George P. Lockhart; and her sisters, Artie Coleman, Elma Deel, Ruby Deel and Myrtie Sykes.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Tarlton (Sandy) of Charlotte, NC, Bryan Lockhart (Patrice) of Pounding Mill, VA and Jonathan Scott Lockhart of Christiansburg, VA; and her grandchildren, Erin Lockhart, Bethany Lockhart, Nicolas Lockhart, Christopher Lockhart, Ella Lockhart and Jordan Lockhart. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
