It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ronald James Childress of Buchanan, Virginia, who passed away on October 30, 2020, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ancil Childress and Kathleen Childress (Horne). He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Wagner Childress of Compton Mountain; his daughter Brittany Hale (Brian) of Lebanon; and his sisters, Ruth Belcher (Donnie) of Rowe and Judy Street of Grundy. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Pl.
