With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ocie Hogston Matney of Buchanan, Virginia, who passed away on January 19, 2022 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Hogston and Lillie Hogston (Spencer); her former husband Ralph Matney; her husband Chuck Beach; her siblings, Eugene Hogston, Josephine Owens, Alice Freeman and Barbara Stevens; and her son-in-law Bobby Ray Justus.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Tyler Justus (Kourtney Cook) of Dismal, VA and Rene Branson of Abingdon, VA; and her sister Delphia Davis of Dismal, VA.. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
The family requests everyone to wear a mask.
