He is survived by: his children, Michael Leroy Brown, Jr. (Lisa) of Salem and Miranda Brown of Richmond; his grandchildren, Donavan Edward Brown and Emily Rose Brown; and his siblings, Robert "Bobby" Brown of Covington, Nancy Brown Burley of Buchanan and Barbara Surface of Botetourt. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
