It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harley Radford Looney of Buchanan, Virginia, born in Grundy, Virginia, who passed away on January 30, 2021, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Elijah Radford and Goldie Evelyn Looney (Fields). He is survived by: his children, Joey Looney of Grundy, VA, James Looney, Susan Underwood of Grundy, VA, Harley Looney of Cleveland, VA, Dorothy Looney of Athens, OH, Angel Lafferty of Grundy, VA and Kayla Lafferty of Florida; his grandsons, James Radford Looney Jr., Mark Looney and Jacob Looney; his stepgrandchildren, Jason Lafferty, Christian Lafferty, Natalie Lafferty and Jimmy Lafferty; and his siblings, Willie Lane of Oakwood, VA, Shirley Blaine of Statesville, NC, Elmer Looney of Oakwood, VA, Roger Looney (Pam) of Slate Creek, VA and Steve Looney of Bluefield, VA.. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
