She was predeceased by: her parents, Otho G. Markham and Eloise Flanagan Markham. She is survived by: her husband Steven Lawhorn; her daughter Angie Wilburn (Garnett) of Troutville; her stepson Andrew Lawhorn (Andrea) of Bulls Gap, Tennessee; and her brothers, Otho Markham (Nancy) of Vero Beach and Tim Markham (Deena) of Buckeye, Arizona. She is also survived by five nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to League for Animal Protection, PO Box 561, Fincastle, Virginia 24090.
