It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Evelyn Sue Jackson of Buchanan, Virginia, born in Oakwood, Virginia, who passed away on April 5, 2022, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Brady Hale and Dorthy Hale (Meadows); her husband Elmer "Bur" Jackson; her son Tim Clifton; her grandson Timmy Clifton; and her sisters, Alma Meadows and Brenda Osborne.
She is survived by: her daughters, Renee Almond (Chris) of Waynesville, NC and Madison Justus; her grandchildren, E. J. Jackson, Katelyn Helper, Gracie Jackson and Christian Jackson; her stepchild J. D. Hale; her nieces and nephews, Amelia Spain, Brady Hale, Robin Phillips, Stephanie Castle, Steve Osborne, Becky Baldwin and Nathan Hale; her great-nephew Raymond Meadows (Billie); and her great-niece Beulah Crigger.
