He is survived by: his children, Ethel Blankenship (Bryan) of Prestonsburg, KY and John Christian of Grundy, VA; his grandson Ryan Blankenship; and his siblings, Danny Christian of Grundy, VA, Don Christian (Brenda) of Patrick Springs, VA, Jack Christian (Gladys) of Sophia, WV, Kathy Hurley (Donald) of Grundy, VA, Ruthy Ward (Leo) of Paynesville, WV and Betty Vanover (Terry) of Grundy, VA.. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
