She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Glen O'Roark and Leona Martz Lambert; her husband Cletus H. Phillips, Sr.; her daughter Brenda Stearn; her siblings, Edwin O'Roark and Patricia Mongold; and her stepmother Alice O'Roark.
She is survived by: her children, Wannetta Hughes (Dennis) of Rockingham and C. H. Phillips, Jr. of Broadway; her granddaughter Christina Stearn of Arlington; her stepbrother Sheldon Ray O'Roark of Harrisonburg; and her siblings-in-law, Nelson Mongold, Donnie Mumaw, Raymond Phillips (Juanita), Ruby Phillips, Verdie Huffman, Betty Phillips and Barbara Derrow.
Per CDC guidelines, facial masks and social distancing are recommended at the funeral home and the church.
