He was predeceased by: his father Lyle Brooks, Sr.; his brother Lyle Brooks Jenkins, Jr.; and his wife Debbie Jenkins. He is survived by: his stepchildren, Amber Whetzel of Broadway and Aaron Pence of Linville; his brother David Jenkins, Sr. of Broadway; his nephew David Jenkins, Jr. of New Market; and his niece Chelsea Eutsler of Broadway. He is also survived by 2 great nephews; and two great nieces.
