She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward C. Collins and Edith Blough Collins; and her siblings, June Marie Weaver and Dr. Robert E. Collins. She is survived by: her husband Donald E. Showalter of Broadway; her children, Carl G. Showalter II of Los Altos, CA, Anne L. Showalter of Chapel Hill, NC and Philip E. Showalter of Lynchburg, VA; her grandchildren, Alexander Showalter, Andrew Showalter, Maxwell Wieboldt, Ella Showalter, Madison Wieboldt and Katherine Showalter; and her brother Ronald Collins.
