He was predeceased by: his parents, Milton Isaac and Margaret Strickler Harpine; and his sister Norma Jean Murphy. He is survived by: his children, Angie Sovany (Paul) of Raleigh, NC and Steve Harpine (Amie) of Broadway; his grandchild Mackenzie Kinney; and his siblings, Nina Golladay of New Market, June Shirkey (Jim) of Timberville, Allen "Bud" Harpine of New Market, Anna Sine, Hilda Shirkey, Louise Sine and Celia Miller.
