He was predeceased by: his mother Ida Mae Ford Delawder; his stepfather Braxton Delawder; and his stepson David Johnson III. He is survived by: his daughters, Star Lisa Delawder of Harrisonburg and Torina Cook of Rockingham County; his stepchildren, Debrah Dingledine of Mt. Jackson, Kimberly Lane of Indiana and Mark Johnson of Mt. Jackson; and his siblings, Kay Sue Dellinger, Christine Smith, Timothy Delawder and Edward Delawder.
