It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Everett Ritchie Sr. of Broadway, Virginia, born in Lost City, West Virginia, who passed away on July 27, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father John Everett; and his brother Sheridan B. Ritchie. He is survived by: his wife Sharon E. Emswiler; his children, Carla Flick (Nelson) of Broadway, James Ritchie, Jr. (Tammy) of Timberville, Linette Wilkins (Vernon) and Steven Ritchie of Broadway; his grandson Adam Flick; his brother Robert Ritchie of Broadway; and his sisters-in-law, Yvonne Ritchie (Cookie) of Broadway and Ginny Ritchie of Broadway. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren.
