Martin of Boydton, Virginia, born in Newark, New Jersey, who passed away on November 12, 2023, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Leroy Minatee and Delores Minatee; her spouse Thomas Martin; her son Thomas Martin, Jr. of Akron; her grandson Joseph Martin; and her brothers, Lester Minatee and Leroy Minatee, III.
She is survived by: her children, Bridgitte Minatee Vinson of Graham, NC, Tonyia Franklin (Arnie) of Burlington, NC, Michelle Martin of Boydton, VA, Claude Martin of Boydton, VA, Claudine Martin of Florence, SC and Alvester Martin of Skipwith, VA; her siblings, Douglas Minatee, Monet White (Tyrone) of Boydton, VA and Lazette Minatee Few (Louie) of Burlington, NC; her brother-in-law George Robert Martin (Beverly) of Clarksville, VA; and her aunt Millicent Degree of Boydton, VA. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild.
