He was predeceased by: his wife Florence Akers Hogan; his children, Susan Hogan Davis and Charles Edward Hogan, Jr. (Eddie); and his parents, Roy Hogan and Callie Hogan.
He is survived by: his granddaughters, Heather Hogan (Duane) and Melissa Tolbert (Stephen); his great grandchildren, Kayla, Taylor, Keanna, Kamdyn and Connor; and his children-in-law, Robin Hogan and Bruce Davis.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Missions Fund at Colonial Baptist Church.
