He was predeceased by: his parents, Susan Bagwell Moncure and William I. Moncure Sr.. He is survived by: his children, Shirley Moncure Wilkins (David Lee) and Elizabeth Moncure (David Pleasants); his grandchildren, David Irby Wilkins, Elizabeth Winn Roberts (Kyle), Anne Blair Wilkins (C. J. Pilong) and William Benjamin Winn (Madison); his great grandchildren, Lillian Moncure Winn and Connor Creston Roberts; and his siblings, Conway B. Moncure and Susan Epes Moncure (Armond Leake). He is also survived by his friends about exploits of his bird dog and family pet, "Bird," his duck dog.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Kenston Forest School or Crenshaw United Methodist Church.
