She was predeceased by: her parents, Ollie Brown and Anna Brown; her husband Arvin Goodson; her son Bernard Goodson; her grandson Jermaine Goodson; her brother Charles Brown; and her great great grandchild Keshauna Goodson.
She is survived by: her children, Emory (Ann), Thaddis (Mabel), Howard, Woodrow, Orvin, Gary (Mary), Lena (Burmond), Margaret (Marvin), Betty Ann and Arcola. She is also survived by 11 children.
