He was predeceased by: his parents, Roger Pryor Jones and Celeste Old Jones. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Bishop Jones; his siblings, Edward H. Jones (Nancy) and Myra Green; his children, Gregory T. Jones (Kristie) and Ann Pryor Bishop (Billy); his grandchildren, Tanner Bishop (Brittany), Ashton Bishop (Mandy), Ann Cabell Bishop, Ashley Brooke Perkinson (Brad) and Karlie Jones; and his great grandchildren, Jackson, Noah, Luke and Micah Perkinson. He is also survived by many nieces' and nephews.
