It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kirby C. Waltrip of Blackstone, Virginia, who passed away on March 29, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert and Lillian; his brother Robert Jr.; and his son Harry Waltrip. He is survived by: his children, Veronica Prescher, Tommy Waltrip (Margaret) and Wade Waltrip (Beatrice); the mother of his children Charlotte Virtanen; his stepsons, Frank Spivey (Mickey) and Ralph Spivey; his grandchildren, Sarah Waltrip, Steve Rosilier, Angie Rubio (David), Samantha Porter (James), Megan Waltrip, Hannah Waltrip and Andrea Waltrip; his stepgrandchildren, Ashton Jones (Victoria), Michael Spivey, Nathan Spivey and Kristin Wilborn (Chris); and also Emily Sanders. He is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
