He is survived by: his son James; his daughter-in-law Ethel Coleman; his grandchildren, Charita Coleman and Cedric Coleman; his great grandchildren, Raekwon Epps (Big Chief), Jasiya Barner, Semaj Coleman and Christian Coleman; his godchildren, Zakiya Calloway and James Coleman Jr.; his siblings, Richard Edmonds (Rebecca), Willard Edmonds, Corrine Miller (Howard) and Pinkie Jefferson; his sister-in-law Jeanette Coleman; his niece Jackie Royal; and his close friend Mary Page. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
