He was predeceased by: his parents, Morell "Fuzzy" McCroskey and Clara Beckner McCroskey; and his brother Morell Lee McCroskey. He is survived by: his wife Bonita Smith McCroskey; his son Jason William McCroskey of Narrows, VA; his stepchildren, Willard Grubb of Pearisburg, Jason Mitcham (Brittany) of Montgomery County, Angela Morse (Bud) of Madison, Virginia and Bobbie Jo Griggs (Steve) of Pembroke; and his siblings, Franklin McCroskey (Claire) of Pearisburg, VA and Judy Page (John) of Pearisburg. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and step-grandchildren.
