She was predeceased by: her husband Dr. Herman K. Doswald; her parents, Dr. Berthold and Inge Hannes of Hamburg; and her siblings, Lilo (Thomas Rosenmeyer) of Berkeley and Klaus Hannes (Felicitas Hannes) of Hamburg, Germany..
She is survived by: her daughters, Caroline (Sanjaya Wijesinghe) of Kuala Lumpur and Malaysia; her grandsons, Joshua and Noah; her daughters, Stephanie Sebolt of Staunton and Virginia; her grandsons, Max and Alex; and her great grandchild Nicholas. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and many wonderful friends.
