She was predeceased by: her husband Carmelo Scecchitano (Tom); and her brother Louis Nazzaro. She is survived by: her children, Bernadette Vissani (Fernando), Joanne Scecchitano and Sal Scecchitano (Deb Lawrence); her grandchildren, Daniel Vissani (Mary), Andrew Vissani (Lupe), Natalie Scecchitano and Alida Scecchitano; and her great grandchildren, Olivia, Simeon and Andrew Liam Vissani.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Rose's name to the Alzheimer's Association (alz.org), Heritage Hall Nursing Home in Blacksburg VA (heritage-hall.org) or Good Samaritan Hospice (goodsamhospice.com).
