She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Linkous and Kit Linkous; her husband Leroy Linkous; and her siblings, William Linkous, Nancy Wright and Linda Sweeney.
She is survived by: her children, Lourie (Lester Shaver), Leroy Linkous Jr. of Christiansburg, Richard Linkous and Robert Croote of Riner; her granddaughters, Bridgette Strup (Dan) and Amber Linkous; her great grandchildren, Georgia and Penelope Strup; her sister Lois (Malcom Woolwine); and her close friend Gloria Hilton. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Good Samaritan Hospice can be made in Peggy's name.
