He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Linkous and Mildred Linkous; his wife Jackie Linkous; and his brothers, Roger (Amelia Linkous) and Woody (Helen Linkous).
He is survived by: his daughter Karen Leland; his grandson Jared Leland; his brothers, Bernard (Ellen Linkous) and Lonzie (Wilda Linkous); his uncle Roy Quesenberry; his aunts, Shelby Quesenberry and Stella Quesenberry; his friends, Roger Averheart, Don Thomas and Ken Duncan; and his pet Yellow. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; and his best friend and companion.
