We are sad to announce that on August 13, 2018, Nicholas Sanders (Blacksburg, Virginia), born in Louisville, Kentucky passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Nicholas Sanders to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her husband Thomas C. Sanders; her parents, Henry Lewis Nicholas and Mary Petty Nicholas "Mamie"; and her sisters, Mary Pryor Tucker and Julia May Gates.
She is survived by: her children, William H. Sanders of Blacksburg and Thomas H. Sanders II of Richmond; and her niece Mary Neal Tucker of Richmond. She is also survived by nine other nieces and nephews, four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to the youth department of Richmond's First Baptist Church, 2709 Monument Ave., Richmond, Va. 23220.
