He is survived by: his wife Martha Surface Lucas; his sons, Billy Lucas (Ashley) of North Carolina, Cody Lucas of Narrows and Bobby Lucas of Narrows; his stepchildren, Jason Shepherd (Angie) of Blacksburg and Christy Mullins (Bernie) of Blacksburg; his grandchildren, Dacoda Lucas, Benjamin Wilson, Samantha Mullins, Dustin Mullins, Cash Shepherd and Piper Shepherd; his mother-in-law Mary Jane Surface; his niece Dena Puckett (Brock); his cousin Pauline Phillips; and his close friends, Charlie Buracker, John Spaur, Tim Dalton and Glenn Miller. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and other friends.
