It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Imogene Howard Schirr (Blacksburg, Virginia), who passed away on September 1, 2018, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her spouse Richard Schirr; her sons, Gary Richard Schirr of Blacksburg and Frederick Howard Schirr of Canal Winchester; her sister Loretta Stahl of Muncie; and her grandchildren, Christine "Kiki" Schirr, Stephen Schirr, Lucas Schirr, Tara Schirr and Hunter Schirr. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
The family prefers that people so inclined make donations to the Alzheimer's Research Foundation in lieu of sending flowers.
