She was predeceased by: her husband Harold Burton Parker; her parents, George Lewis Arrington and Evelyn Carter Arrington Faucette; her sister Peggy D. Arrington; her siblings-in-law, Orion Everette Parker, Jr., Burdette Rupert and Frances Parker Rupert; and her niece Susan Parker Potter.
She is survived by: her daughter Molly Gay Parker of Blacksburg; her siblings, James Lewis Arrington (Judy) of Tampa, FL and Patsy Arrington Parker of Daleville; her nieces and nephews, Rebecca Parker Hudson (Kevin), Anna Sue Weade, B. R. Rupert, Allen Weade and Bobby Weade; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Kaitlyn Lacey Potter Law (Drew), Parker Ruth Hudson and Carter Hobbs Hudson; her cousins, Howard Liptrap, Trisha, Jimmy and Jami English; and her friends, Carol and Jimmy Hallet. She is also survived by the many pets and animals.
The family suggests that memorial tributes take the form of contributions to Good Samaritan Hospice of Roanoke, 2408 Electric Road, Roanoke, VA 24018.
