He is survived by: his parents, Joseph Straub and Barbara Straub; his sister Ann Oliveira; his brother-in-law Victor De Oliveira; his nephew Liam of Blacksburg; his parents-in-law, Ernest Hays of Bluefield and Beth Hays of Bluefield; and his husband Erik. He is also survived by aunts, uncles and cousins.
