He was predeceased by: his brother Melvin Ray Wingate; and his nephew Adam B. Williams. He is survived by: his wife Ella R. Wingate; his daughter Ashley W. Hall (Aaron); his grandchildren, Kylie P. Hall of Sugar Grove, Andrew S. Hall of Sugar Grove, Calvin A. Hall of Sugar Grove and Stephen M. Hall of Sugar Grove; his siblings, Karen W. Williams (JimBob) of Johnson City and Dennis L. Wingate (Sherry) of Bluefield; his sister-in-law Betty Wingate of Blacksburg; his nieces, Sheri Hawthorne and Lindsey Iglesias; his nephew Jeff Wingate; and his close friends, Mike Lindsey, Stanley Smith and Kevin Martin.
