He is survived by: his wife Lisa Ann Collins; his children, Acy Collins (Crystal) of Narrows, VA, BJ Collins (Kathy Dowdy) of Blacksburg and Beth Martin (Joe Harris) of Pilot, Virginia; his grandchildren, Corbet Collins, Christian Collins, Abigail Custer (Jordan), Sarah Bradbury (Dakota Adkins) and Katie Martin; his great grandchildren, Blake and Levi; his stepsons, Justin Burgess (Tina), Jason Burgess (Brianna) and Joseph Burgess (Nikki Lawson); his stepgrandsons, Titus Burgess, Michael Burgess and Silas Burgess; and his siblings, Carl Collins of Narrows, VA and Mary Austin of Dublin.
