She is survived by: her husband Carl E. Polan; her children, Gregory C. Polan (Pam Linkous-Polan), David L. Polan (Debby) and Leanne Reynolds (Robert); her sister Rosalie Clark; her sisters-in-law, Carol Sue Lowther, Wilma Polan (Peggy) and Jane Finley; her granddaughters, Rachel Link (Dwayne), Alice Duty (Aaron), Emily Polan-Harper (Andrew), Carly Dove (Brandon), Sarah Polan and Lindsey Polan; and her great grandchildren, Daniel, Sadie, Natalie Link and Austin Dove.
In lieu of flowers memorial contribution may be made to the Blacksburg Baptist Church, 550 N Main St, Blacksburg, VA 24060, St. Judes Children Hospital, or to Northstar Church, 3929 Prices Fork Road, Blacksburg, VA 24060.
