He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Earl McDonald and Evelyn Singhas McDonald; and his siblings, Evelyn Pearson, Betty V. McCarty and Ernest E. McDonald.
He is survived by: his children, J. C. McDonald (Tricia) of Berryville, VA and Carey Omps (Herschel) of Winchester, VA; his grandchildren, Amber, Clark, Zane, Marissa, Jake, Nick and Jack; his great grandchild Statler; and his brother Robert E. McDonald of Stephens City, VA.
