With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Meda Elizabeth Goode Hicks of Bedford, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 8, 2024 at the age of 103. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George David Goode and Dolly Margaret Andrews Goode; her husband Thomas Winston "Tinker" Hicks; her siblings, Bruce A. Goode, Jack Goode, Charles W. Goode, Ralph P. Goode, Odessa Goode Witt and Margaret Goode Brown; her daughter Stephanie Sue Hicks Kennedy; her sons-in-law, Ralph P. Kennedy and Hubert F. Healy; and her grandsons, Stephan Kennedy and Nathan Healy.
She is survived by: her great grandchild Garrett Aman; and her daughters, Meda Alica Hicks of North Carolina and Marcia Linnette Hicks Healy of Bedford. She is also survived by many grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and great-great grandchildren; one niece; and one nephew.
