With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Dickerson of Bealeton, Virginia, born in Washington, District of Columbia, who passed away on January 12, 2024 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John R. Dickerson and Ada Doyle; and his sister Mary Katherine "Teedles". He is survived by: his wife Karen Dickerson; his children, Stephanie Dickerson Davis-Draper (Gary M. Draper II), James E. Dickerson, Jr. (Vicki Dickerson), Yvonne, Paula, Laura, Patricia and Ann; his grandchildren, Chase, Brittany, Caleb, Caden, Savannah, Emma, Randall and Sydney; and his cousin Carol Ann. He is also survived by numerous nieces and many close friends.
