He was predeceased by: his mother Mary Jones Fortune. He is survived by: his wife Traci Fortune; his children, Alicia Jenkins (Kyle) of Dayton, VA, Tre Fortune of Bealeton, VA and Eric Fortune of Bealeton, VA; his father Ernest L. Fortune, Sr. of Rapidan, VA; his siblings, Dee Walton (Nathaniel) of Chesterfield, VA and Jose Fortune (Michelle) of Bowie, MD; and his grandchildren, Adalynn, Champ and Vada. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a VA 529 fund in Eric's name.
