She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Carlin and Louise James Edwards; her siblings, Mena Carberry and Alan Edwards; her brother-in-law Buford Kirtley (Ramona Kirtley); her nephew Alan Kirtley; her niece Brenda Edwards; and her godson Zachary Sisk.
She is survived by: her husband Ronkeith Kirtley; her brother Charles Carlin "Charlie" Edwards, Jr. (Wanda); her sisters-in-law, Edna Edwards and Yvonne Stallard (Jack); and her nieces and nephews, Richard Edwards, Tom Carberry (Sue), Michael Kirtley (Andrea), Tracey Edwards Jenkins (Andy) and Tammy Patton. She is also survived by many family members and dear friends.
