He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Hamby and Mae Pulliam Hamby; his daughter Terry Hamby Kendrick; and his siblings, Tom Hamby, Jack Hamby, Ray Hamby and Jean Yancey.
He is survived by: his granddaughter Britney; his son-in-law John; his daughter Lisa Hamby Mathis (John); his grandsons, Robert "Robbie" Whitlow (Tori) and Brandon Kendrick (Liz); his great grandchildren, Zane, Aubrey Whitlow, Peyton, Parker Henson and Kaden Pruett; and his brothers, Harvey Hamby and Donald Hamby (Barbara). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other family, and friends.
